Natasha was taken aback by the short notice of returning to the house. But she nodded and stood up to follow him back to the car. “What’s so important back at the house?” she asked. She hoped he didn’t mind her asking but he was being kind of mysterious. She had no idea what he was talking about but if it had to do with any drugs she didn’t really want to get involved. They reached the car and before she knew it they were making their way back, pretty quickly too.
Luke listened to her question as they got inside of the car, it was normal that she asked what she did. He stopped infront of the house as he then looked out into the distance then back to Nat. He swallowed hard, “Me…and Ava, we are going through something big. I told her the truth and she’s not taking it lightly. So, I’m just going to take some time off from seeing anyone for awhile. That’s all.” Luke knew his factors that he wasn’t going to end up with anyone but he felt that was quite alright. A loner, is always a loner.

Natasha nodded as much as she could while laying on the ground. “I know. You are one of the few that I can count on. Although this whole Adam Carlos thing has brought people together, as soon as it’s over everyone will go back to hating each other.” She knew that once Sam stopped torturing Carlos, she probably would go back to avoiding Natasha, same with Levi and maybe Ava. Nothing brought people together more than the mutual hate of one person. “I’m really glad you asked to talk to me, now it’s more like I’m telling you all my problems” she laughed and rolled onto her side to face him
Luke listened to her talk about the whole drama fiasco that has happened, and she was right. People love to pick sides and team up when there’s one person you favor on hating. But to Luke’s case, he wasn’t trying to hate anyone. He was trying to be in the medium person, as well as defending Natasha. He’s more of a reasonable person than just picking sides blindly, he just didn’t favor arguments or fights for whatever cost. He enjoyed more laughing and making jokes, smart remarks type of person. Those that lacked sense of humor, wouldn’t last a bit with him. “Yeah, I totally understand that.” He said to her as she then faced him, he swallowed hard as he started into her eyes. “Yeah, your the only other female I trust with this, since my sister is not around. I am glad, that I can count on you.” He gave her a crooked smile.

Natasha rolled her eyes and laughed at him thanks. “You could say that.” She leaned back against the sand and looked up at the sky. “It seems to have more so blown over now. Adam apologized for what he said to me which is something” She closed her eyes and thought about how much had happened in the past few weeks. Lo used to be someone she could talk to about anything and now they weren’t even talking. “I’m glad you feel better, I’m always here to talk to, no matter what shit I’m going through” she opened her eyes and grinned at him, hoping he knew how much she meant it
Luke watched her lean back against the sand as he sort of did the same but he rested on to his side as he watched her. Luke knew from the beginning she had to be one of the most attractive young ladies he has seen for awhile. He knew she didn’t deserve what she was going through, but sometimes shit happens to the best of us. Once she continued to talk, his attention turned to her. “Well, that’s a plus. I just think, everyone was very emotionally driven. Shit is said when people are angered. But, as long as things are cleared…then everything is all good then.” He said to her, before she made her last comment. “I know, Nat. I know. As I am here for you as well. Count on me, always.”

Nat sat next to him on the sand and crossed both her arms and legs. “First it’s not ‘whatever man’. It actually matters.” She gave him a sincere look, hoping he understood that relationships aren’t just something you blow over. “Secondly, you shouldn’t go into a relationship trying to prove anything, just do you and if she wants to be with you, it’s because you’re enough.” She looked out over the water, wishing she had taken her own advice when with guys, she could hand it out but she couldn’t take it. “And to set the record straight, I don’t care that Adam is the one Carlos is with. He could be with a whore he paid for and I would still only be mad at Carlos”
Luke couldn’t help but to chuckle a bit to her words, even though she was being sincere and serious. “I know, I know. I just say that when I’m a bit frustrated. Maybe, it’s just not the right time. I figured, we both were.” He then looked at her as she then talked about her ex and what not. “I do understand that, but Adam is also her ex and so the fact still applies to both of you.” He then looked back to the ocean waves for a second. “I’m just not going to stress it, if it happens, then it happens. I suppose.” He said honestly, even though the chat did make him feel better. “Thank you, Nat for listening to my issues. I know, you had your own share of shit to deal with.” He said looking at her.

Natasha took in what he was saying. So there had been something going on with Luke and Ava. “So you think you’re taking the relationship too seriously? And she’s just looking for a casual thing” Natasha thought about that. It was very possible that that was happening, the last relationship Ava was in was with Adam…and that didn’t exactly end well. “I say you should ask her. Just point blank, is it a serious relationship or is it supposed to be something casual. If she says casual, be honest and say you don’t think you can do it.” She smiled at him and watched the waves. She couldn’t believe how empty it was, she kept thinking that, why didn’t anyone ever come to this beach? “It’s better to know what the relationship is versus just going along with it”
Luke found a spot to sit on the sand as he then listened to her talk. He listened to her advice and what she thought the main problem was. From time to time he would look at her, “I wasn’t trying to get into a relationship at first. But with her, it seemed the right thing to do. You know?” He said as he then placed his sight back to the open ocean as he tried to think for a moment to what else to say. “Maybe, I wanted to prove her so badly that I wasn’t like the other guys. That I can make her happy.” He said for a moment as he looked back to Nat for a second. “She deserves to be happy, but now. I just don’t know anymore.” He looked away again as he spoke. “Maybe, I’m just over thinking this. I know, you and her taken the whole Carlos and Adam thing hard. Maybe, she’s not over that dude?” He said as his thoughts started to ramble on about other things. “It’s whatever…man.”

Natasha looked at Luke, he seemed distressed, she thought everything was going well with him. “Uh no I’m good, I brought a jacket with me in case it gets cold.” She gave him a small smile and climbed out of the car, he had brought them to some sort of park, or that’s what it looked like it was supposed to be. Natasha walked next to him, holding her jacket and taking in how empty the place was. “So what’s up Luke? Is something wrong?” She didn’t really know what he would need to talk about, she was a little surprised he had come to her, but she appreciated it. She would love to talk about someone else for a change and not herself.
Luke smiled at her, to know that she was up for a walk and for a chat as well. He extended his hand to her, for her to grab it as the two went ahead and left his car behind. Luke listened to her words as he then looked into the path before them. “I don’t even know, if it’s an issue. But, I know how I am. And after awhile, I start to get weird. For now, I’m just trying to avoid the situation.” He knew he was rambling and he wasn’t making any sense. “Sorry, I know I make no sense.” He cleared his throat as he looked up to her, “It’s about Ava.” He said to her, then he looked away as the two continued to walk. “I mean, maybe she was playing. Maybe I’m too smothering into a relationship. I just know, I liked her personality and all. But, maybe some things are suppose to be serious and others goofing around at certain times.” He leaned down to grab a rock to toss it out to the open ocean. “I thought, us…would work out. I just, don’t know anymore.” He watched the rock hit the ocean water as he then looked to Natasha.

Luke looked out to the distance that was on the open road ahead of him. He tried his best not to be down or think of the worse, but he needed someone to talk to. The first person that came to mind that he has turned to was Natasha, and Luke also knew that she has gone through so much that she can help him out. Luke looked up at her, “I don’t know where to go, but anything is better than doing nothing. Agreed? Let’s just leave the car and walk around again, the other night was fun with just walking.” He said to her honestly, he wondered if she needed to change or had other things to do. “If you need to change or do other things, just let me know.” He ran his hand through his hair as he hoped she would spend some time with him.
